Original Large Prismacolor "Portrait of Artist Jasper Johns" on BFK Rives Cotton Archival Paper
Jasper Johns is one of the foremost American artists of the 20th Century, best known for his flag works which hang in modern art museums everywhere. One of my latest artworks is a portrait of Johns from the early 1960's. A composition and image of my own design, I utilized prismacolor pencils/marker on the very best archival 280 gsm (extremely thick) BFK Rives cotton paper from France.
This very popular, fine printmaking paper is mouldmade in France and has a smooth, absorbent surface. Rives Papers, made of 100% cotton, are acid free, soft-sized, and buffered. The sheet is watermarked and has two tear deckled edges.
My "Portrait of Jasper Johns" measures 22" x 30" (excuse the photo, it is slightly distorted in the picture - but exactly 22"x30") and will be shipped rolled in a wide, hard art tube for maximum protection.
There is only one of these available, so once it's sold, it's gone forever!
